In a Nutshell
At RMIT University's GEElab, we are researching how game design thinking can positively affect and alter architecture & urbanism, mobility, popular media, storytelling, engagement, other sciences as well as society itself.
Sean joins the GEElab Melbourne team with Bachelor in Computer Science from University of Melbourne. For the last decade he has been working in science communication through Scienceworks (Museum Victoria), CSIRO, and the Victorian Space Science Education Centre.
In 2012 he began a small business called Rough Science that specialises in science outreach and performance. In 2013, Rough Science released an app for iPads which presented science content related to the Australian Curriculum for Grade 5 and 6 students.
Sean's research interests have predominant focus on the use of games in presenting science content in the classroom.
