In a Nutshell
At RMIT University's GEElab, we are researching how game design thinking can positively affect and alter architecture & urbanism, mobility, popular media, storytelling, engagement, other sciences as well as society itself.
Sponsored by our research partner Audi Electronics Venture GmbH, since 2013 we have been investigating the future of autonomous driving from an experience and game design perspective.
Following a research-through-design approach, we have been designing and evaluating in-car entertainment applications that fundamentally reframe urban commuting in the context of driving automation.
The project is carried out by doctoral researcher Sven Krome.
