GEElab Europe, RMIT University, Karlsruhe (DE) | 2012-2015

The GEElab EU team as of July of 2013

Between 2012 and 2015, our satellite laboratory - GEElab Europe - was located in the charming city of Karlsruhe, Germany, in the state of Baden-Württemberg. Baden-Württemberg has Germany's highest density of scientific, academic and research institutions, next to many high-tech industry headquarters.

Not only is Karlsruhe known for its high quality of living; but also is the city home to some of Germany's most successful Internet and Game Development companies, as well as to internationally renowned organizations. Amongst them are, e.g. the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), the ZKM - Center for Art and Media, the Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design as well as game industry market leader Gameforge AG-all good reasons why we had signed a Research & Development Agreement for the GEElab Europe with the City of Karlsruhe in 2012, which RMIT ended in 2015 after the completion of a seven-figure project with our industry partner, Novartis Pharma.

The GEElab Europe facility has been closed down as of 1 June 2015.
